Description:
The subject of the competition is the elaboration of an author's artistic proposal for the realization of a work of art in honor of Queen Eliška Rejčka (hereinafter referred to as the "work of art") and the elaboration of an architectural-landscape solution of the plot of land plot no. for placement purposesof a work of art.
Due to the historical and cultural context, this is an important public space in the historical part of Brno in front of the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, whose current state requires a comprehensive approach to the solution. The contracting authority expects from the proposal that the Competition will bring high-quality examples of interlinkedhe concept of a work of art in public space. The modification of the public space should create a harmonious whole with the artwork, which will create a high-quality public space supporting the historical and cultural value of the place and thus increase the attractiveness of the location of Old Brno.
