Title: The main entrance of the Central Cemetery in Brno

Description: The subject of the competition is the design of the main entrance to the Central Cemetery in Brno, the reconstruction of one of the administrative buildings on the administrative background, the proposal of adjacent public space in the cemetery and before entering Vienna Street, including public transport stops. The subject is also a design of the location and form of operational buildings along the enclosure of the walls including shopping areas for florists and stonework.
The task for the competitor is to choose such a form and form of proposed interventions to the eastern part of the Central Cemetery area, which will be in line with existing historical buildings and their location, with urban concept of cemetery and with it associated with vegetation. The new solution will bring a new quality of the main entrance to the area and the entire eastern part of the central cemetery and will also allow improvement of the current state in terms of operation and background management of the cemetery, even in terms of the availability of services for the public and aesthetics environment.
