- The subject of the performance is the implementation of works leading to the removal of the old ecological load in the premises of the former PHM BENZINA distribution warehouse in Ostrava-Hrabova. This is a saturated and unsaturated zone of the rock environment. Specifically, about the elimination of the objectionable state of groundwater and the elimination of localsource of pollution in the unsaturated zone.
In the unsaturated zone, extraction of contaminated sites with backfilling will be used, including disposal of the contents of underground tanks and disposal of these tanks by shipment. Given the current situation on the site, it is considered a suitable remediation technology for the saturated zoneappears to be a combination of remedial pumping of polluted groundwater, collection of the free phase and re-soaking of purified water into the rock environment with intensification of washing with surface-active substances. The work will be continuously monitored and evaluated.
