- The subject of the Competition is the development of an architectural and urban design for the new Hranice na Morava Terminal and related buildings, which will complement the section of the VRT Moravska Brana high-speed line from Brodek near Přerov to Ostrava. The terminal in its new location will replace today's station building, which will bewounded. The Hranice na Morava VRT terminal will serve as a transfer hub for the town of Hranice and its surroundings. The terminal will integrate the functions of the existing train station, VRT terminal and bus station. The terminal will form the boarding point of the high-speed railway for part of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian regionsYippee. It is expected to be used both for long-distance transport within the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as for daily commuting to Olomouc, Ostrava, Brno and Prague, as well as the public transport terminal of Hranice itself. For that reason, the Terminal must be designed for long-distance passengers as well as for daily commuting. The Terminal should have its own architecttonic and technical solution to symbolize the new era of railway transport and infrastructure in the Czech Republic, which will be connected to the European high-speed railway network after the completion of the VRT.
