Description: The aim of the contracting authority is to build a ship lift, which will allow overcoming the existing slap waterwork. This will create a continuous waterway that connects the SLAP waterworks on the European waterway network. The shipping lift will allow vessel to combine 300 t load capacity and vessels complying with the waterway of class I waterways. Along with the Orlík's shipping jack, it will create a significant technical and tourist dominant 240 km long Vltava waterway České Budějovice - Mělník.
