- The subject of the work is the professional extermination of unwanted vegetation in the vicinity of railway tracks and sidings within the scope specified by the client.
The aim is to ensure the safe and smooth operation of railway transport and at the same time to protect the infrastructure from damage caused by vegetation.
The contractor will carry out the work in such a way that ensuring long-term efficiency and minimizing subsequent maintenance costs.
Part of the work is a regular control of the state of vegetation in individual regions according to the schedule set by the client.
Based on this information, the supplier will design and implement the most suitable method of intervention.
It will be used selectively spraying, when the herbicide is applied only to the places where the weed occurs, not over the entire surface.
This procedure will ensure a gentler approach to the environment and, at the same time, a higher effectiveness of the intervention.
The supplier is obliged to use only approved preparations and technologies in accordance with legal and safety regulations standards.
Part of the work also includes the mechanical removal of vegetation where chemical application is not suitable.
The work will be carried out in such a way that traffic on railway tracks and sidings is not disturbed.
The supplier will ensure coordination with the track operators and will respect their operating restrictions.
After each hit it will effectiveness control and documentation of the work carried out.
The contracting authority will be regularly informed about the progress, scope and results of the interventions.
The scope of the work includes all sections of tracks and sidings listed in the appendix.
