Description:
The subject of the public contract is the collection of current data on the distribution and quality of natural biotopes, which takes place in the form of a professional botanical field investigation. The data is submitted in the Wanas software by drawing individual map segments and writing down a number of attributes according to observations at the site (for more see mandatory methodical documents that are attached to the tender documentation).
The obligation to monitor the state of natural habitats is imposed on nature protection authorities by the provisions of the directive No. 92/43/EEC, on the protection of natural habitats, wild animals and wild plants. Another obligation based on this directive is the submission of evaluation reports on the state of natural habitats to the European Commission at regular six-year intervals.
Updated habitat mapping layer represents the main data basis for their creation. By issuing a public contract, one part of the cycle of updating the biotope mapping layer of the Czech Republic is implemented, which will enable the fulfillment of the needs of the AOPK of the Czech Republic to ensure the monitoring of the state of natural habitats in a given calendar year.
The subject of the entire public contract is divided on 78 parts according to individual locations.
