The subject of this contract is the provision of public services in the transport of passengers by public rail passenger transport to ensure traffic service by regional transport trains on the territory of the Moravian-Silesian Region for the duration from the beginning of the validity of the timetable 2027/2028 to the end of the validity of the timetable 2031, with the possibility of extension until the end of the validity of the timetable 2032, and with the possibility of a further extension until the end of the validity of the timetable 2033, i.e. in the 4+1+1 mode in the duration of 4, 5, or 6 years.
In relation to the high degree of uncertainty regarding the determination of the date and phasing of the electrification of key track sections to the set date of 12/2027 in the Beskydy operating group, the Moravian-Silesian Region will request carriers to include vehicles in the motor traction with a reserved possible transition to electric traction or provision of alternative drive vehicles.
