TITLE: Ensuring a direct train connection between Brno and Vienna International Airport (VIE)

Description: The Statutory City of Brno is preparing to ensure a direct train connection to Vienna International Airport (VIE). By providing a train connection with the Statutory City of Brno, the existing bus connection is insufficient and unreliable for passengers due to the threatening delay.
Opening of operation within the announced contract is prepared from the summer season 2023, specifically from the change date of timetables in June 2023.
The scope of the contract (frequency of connection, etc.) will be determined on the basis of the evaluation of the needs of the Client in terms of transport services of the Statutory City of Brno.
The connection will lead through the territory of the Czech Republic (South Moravian Region) and the territory of the Republic of Austria (the Federal State of Lower Austria and Vienna).
