- The subject of the performance of the public contract is horticultural work consisting in the regular maintenance of gardens and grounds at the buildings that the Diplomatic Service is responsible for managing. This concerns the maintenance of outdoor gardens in the growing season from April 1 to November 30 in the calendar years 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027. In each year (except for the already started year 2024, for which maintenance starts from 1/6/2024), the gardens will be maintained for a period of 8 months.
As part of the maintenance, the following gardening work will be carried out on an ongoing basis:
•trimming and cutting of plants,
•maintenance, health and shaping cuts of bushes,
•health cuts of trees,
•manureplanting,
•adding compost substrate to plants,
•adding mulch bark to plants, possible planting and transplanting,
•removing all dead parts of plants,
•chemical spraying against diseases and pests according to occurrence,
•mowing lawns at a frequency of 1 x weekly,
•fertilizing, diggingand chemical treatment of lawns,
•verticuting the lawn twice a year (spring and autumn),
•raking fallen leaves from the lawn, plantings and paved areas,
•weeding and cleaning all plantings,
•chemical or mechanical weed disposal,
• cleaning of paved surfaces around objects from fallen leaves, etcand possible waste from the garden,
•starting, setting up operation, regular control and winterization of irrigation,
•removal and disposal of all waste generated during maintenance and cleaning,
•maintenance and optimal setting of irrigation systems.
