Job description: This is a scanner for drilling cores, the primary purpose of which is a detailed scanning of drilling cores and subsequent structural analysis of planar elements in the supplied original software. The obtained data will be compared and combined with the results of logging methods performed directly in the well. These logging data work with the orientation of the planar structural elements shown on the resulting expanded image of the borehole, where they are defined by a sinusoid, whose geometric characteristics correspond to the azimuth and inclination of the given planar structural element. Therefore, in addition to the standard scanning of drilling cores in cores, the required drill for core drills also requires automatic scanning of the drilling core along its entire circumference (360) and in the entire scanned length and subsequent processing of these scans in the supplied original software, which allows unpacking of the scanned core in 360 mode and plotting sinusoids of planar elements. Mineralogical, petrological and alteration analyzes are not required by direct measurement, but only by the possibility of creating a color mask for the respective mineral / alteration.
