- The subject of the public contract is the construction of the D6 highway in the section Kninice - Bošov. The beginning of the construction is located at km 83.680 on the edge of the already operational construction D6 Lubenec Bošov. The construction in question ends at km 91.590 on the edge of construction D6 Žalmanov Kninice. The construction is 7,910 km long and is in design category D25.5/130.
The D6 route is south of the existing I/6 mainly on agricultural land. The connection of the D6 road to the road network is ensured by a level crossing near the village of Kninice at km 6,300. The route is conducted in an extravillan outside the inhabited area in the slightly undulating terrain at the foot of the Doupovske mountains,Tepelske vrchoviny and Slavkovsky forest at an altitude of 540 695 m above sea level.
The construction includes a two-sided Verušičky rest stop at km 86,750, re-routing of dirt roads, temporary connection D6 I/6, temporary and permanent traffic markings, 6 bridges, retaining walls, road drainage , re-laying of utility networks,road fencing, vegetation management and recultivation.
