- The subject of the public contract is the construction of a digital radio network for data and voice communication between public transport vehicles and the dispatching workplace with sufficient capacity for the transmission of an increasing amount of operational data. It is a replacement of the existing analog radio network built in 2001, whose transmissiona capacity is no longer sufficient for current requirements. Operational data from public transport vehicles will be transmitted, stored and used primarily by the dispatching office for traffic control at defined intervals. The operational data can also be used by MMOl or KIDSOK dispatch offices if interested. Data containlocation of vehicles, information about delays or other data can be provided to third parties through a defined program interface for use in applications intended for the traveling public. For example, integration into applications such as IDOS or Google maps is expected. Voice communication will take placealso drivers of public transport vehicles and DPMO traffic control, or other participants. As part of the newly delivered software superstructure, it will be possible to create call groups (e.g. according to traction, lines, areas), send text messages to on-board computer displays, monitor vehicle locations, and record calls. Systemsm will be prepared for possible expansion by other participants from a number of municipal companies (City Police Olomouc and Technical Services of the City of Olomouc a.s.)
