Title: Completion and modification of Peace Square

Description: The subject of the Competition is the design of public space and urban development and such functional use, which evaluates and develops the character of the given place with an emphasis on the use of the potential of public space.
The appearance of the public space of náměstí Míru has been unsatisfactory for a long time and requires a conceptual and comprehensive approach to planning its development. Especially unsuitable is the solution of the tram loop in combination with the management of roads and their intersection. The future appearance of the square should offer a dignified and safe public space usable as a social and residential place for the inhabitants of the district. The location is suitable for locating functions of local and city significance, it is a natural center of the district and a starting point for visiting institutions and social events in the place and on Kraví hora.
The task is to articulate the appearance of the square and buildings so that it is in line with its historically established surroundings and strengthen public facilities and facilities for social activities, which will benefit the functioning of the district and the city in the future.
