Description:
The National Gallery in Prague (hereinafter referred to as "NGP") and the Slovak National Gallery (hereinafter referred to as the "SNG") would like to invite you to participate in the 61th year of the Art Biennial in Venice in the form of this competition. Art Biennial 2026 will take placeIn the expected term from 9 May to 22 November 2026.

as the theme of a joint presentation on the Art Biennale 2026 determined the following topic: 100 years of the opening of the Czech and Slovak pavilion in Venice and mutual relations.

The winner can become a team of at least three or more authors andThe authors, while the call for participation in the competition focuses on authorial teams of at least:
- one artist who has long been professionally working on the Slovak art scene;
- One artist who has long been professionally working on the Czech art scene;
- one curator.

for participation in the competition is neededSubmit:

competition proposal of the exhibition incl. Additional documents in Czech or Slovak language
• form for participants of the competition (including budget proposal, or other information important for more comprehensive understanding and evaluation of the submitted proposal at the end of the opening form, see Annex 6 of thisassignment);
• structured CV of each team member;
• portfolio of each team member;
• Concept of the presentation/exhibition and its description in the range of 2,500-3,000 characters in the opening form; In the electronic version in PDF format, up to 25 MB;
•All essential or additional information is obliged to provide the participant in the opening form of a maximum of 3,000 characters, no other documents outside the specified scope will not be taken into account by the jury.attachments.
