- As part of the Karviná Thermal Plant decarbonization project, the contracting authority is preparing the public contract "CE TKV - Gas-fired heating source", the subject of which will be the construction of a new source of combined electricity and heat production from gas (also referred to as Source 2). This resource would was supposed to consist of a production building in which two gas cogeneration units, air conditioning, electrical switchboards, machine room and other service operations and stand-alone gas turbines with a hot water boiler will be located. The order will be executed in closed area of the Karviná Teplárny in the Karviná - Doly area between the towns of Karviná and Havířov in the Czech Republic.
