The subject of the competition is the architectural design of the extension of the Silesian Ostrava Town Hall, which will build on the existing historic building of the town hall located on Těšinska 138/35, Ostrava, which is a cultural monument registered under the registration number of USKP 31760/8-2385.which the office of the Municipal District of Slezska Ostrava provides for its citizens will no longer fit in the original historic building of the town hall on Těšinska Street 138/35. Currently, most trade unions are located in a building on Jurije Gagarina Square.In a very poor technical condition requiring expensive reconstruction. In addition, this arrangement requires the constant movement of employees and documents between the two buildings. On the basis of the outcome of an economic study comparing the financial demands of the reconstruction with the construction of an extension to the historic building of the Silesian OstravaThe Town Hall decided to build new premises and announce an architectural competition entitled "The extension of the Silesian Ostrava Town Hall".Storage space, which will be friendly to employees and clients of the Office.
