- The purpose of this over-the-limit public contract is to fulfill the set goals and activities of the 5G Project in the form of the delivery of selected elements of the demonstrative application of the 5G network ecosystem in the environment of the statutory city of Usti nad Labem, in the form of a comprehensive technological ecosystem including, among other things, the provision of 5G connectivity, delivery and integration of modern camera systems into public transport trolleybuses and acquisition of the necessary hardware and software enabling remote access to the vehicle camera system.
The main goal of the project is the implementation of 5G technology in order to increase the situational awareness of the Municipal Police of Usti nad Labem and safety of public transport vehicles in Usti nad Labem.
This will be achieved by installing modern camera systems in the interior of vehicles, installing front surveillance cameras and introducing other related safety technology elements
in trolleybuses.
The key element is to provide remote capability supervision, or making image data available for the city police. The implementation of the project thus responds to the need to introduce effective measures to reduce the number of incidents and aggressive behavior of passengers in Usti public transport and thus increase the attractiveness of public transport as an efficient and safe form traffic in the city. The project also positively contributes to increasing situational awareness around public transport vehicles.
