• Description:
• The subject of the public contract is the acceptance and recycling of construction and demolition waste, in accordance with the requirements of Act No. 541/2020 Coll., on waste, as amended (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"). Waste must be handled in accordance with § 3 of the Act on Waste in accordance with hierarchy of waste management, i.e. they must be preferentially recycled and, according to § 13 of the Waste Act, transferred directly or through a waste carrier only to a facility designed for handling the given type and category of waste. Waste that is subject of this public contract arise during the repair and maintenance of traffic roads and their accessories. Transport to a stationary facility for waste management is not the subject of this public contract, the contracting authority ensures this with its own vehicle fleet. For this reason with regard to the contractor's environmental responsibility, the maximum permitted driving distance (time) is set, namely for a maximum of 30 minutes of driving by truck. The distance (time) of max. 30 minutes is the driving distance, so it is not a distance determined by air by route, but by the time the vehicle must travel from the contractor's premises at Porážka 459/2, 602 00 Brno to the location of the equipment for receiving and using the waste in question, i.e. the place of unloading of waste, which is specified in the contract.
